Senior People & Culture Consultant/Business Partner Role

As a key member of our organizational leadership team, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company.

  • Supporting managers and employees across Victoria and Queensland in all aspects of employee lifecycle management.
  • Providing expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, policy and compliance, health and safety, recruitment, and culture and engagement.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive business outcomes and improve the employee experience.
  • Leading cyclical people processes within your regions including performance reviews and remuneration cycles ensuring they run smoothly.

With a strong focus on delivering exceptional results, you will be working closely with senior leaders and other HR professionals to drive business outcomes and improve the overall quality of worklife.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations: Providing expert advice and support to managers and employees on all employment-related matters.
  • Performance Management: Developing and implementing performance management frameworks to support the growth and development of our employees.
  • Policy and Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, developing and implementing policies and procedures to support business objectives.
  • Health and Safety: Identifying and mitigating risks associated with workplace health and safety, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
  • Recruitment: Developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Culture and Engagement: Fostering a positive and inclusive work culture, promoting employee engagement and motivation.
Requirements
  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 7 - 10 years (or equivalent) experience in a similar P&C role, ideally within professional services.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and their practical application.
  • Experience supporting work health and safety initiatives.
  • A hands-on, solutions-focused approach with the ability to balance compliance with commercial outcomes.
  • Commercial awareness balancing business needs with people outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
