This role presents an exciting opportunity to work as a strategic business partner, providing trusted HR advice and supporting employees across multiple sites in Queensland.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering operational and strategic HR solutions that align with the organisation's goals.

  • Provide expert advice on employee relations matters including performance management, disciplinary processes, and complex investigations.
  • Support business units through change management initiatives such as restructuring, award interpretation, and enterprise agreement implementation.
  • Collaborate with recruitment specialists to develop workforce planning strategies, hiring practices, and onboarding programs.
  • Contribute to salary benchmarking, remuneration advice, and benefits program development.
  • Lead or contribute to HR projects and systems enhancements.
  • Partner with leadership teams to identify training needs and support learning and development initiatives.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture and uphold organisational safeguarding responsibilities.
About You
  • 3–5 years' experience in HR generalist or HR business partnering roles, preferably in a medium to large multi-site organisation.
  • Degree-qualified in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Australian HR and industrial relations legislation.
  • Experience interpreting modern awards and working with employment contracts.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and consultation skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with a calm and solutions-focused approach.
  • A commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Current (or willingness to obtain) a Working with Children Check.
  • Successful completion of safeguarding training.
  • Australian working rights.
