About the Role
Yooralla is seeking a passionate and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team in the Southern region of Melbourne. As a Speech Pathologist, you will work with adults with a disability to provide best practice, evidence-based speech pathology services and support them to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver therapy in people's homes, educational settings, or in the community to support clients to achieve their goals.
- Work collaboratively with adults with a disability, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized plans.
- Provide indirect client service and family coordination to support client goals.
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Speech Pathologist with a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and experience working within a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to engage people with a disability, motivate them, and build their capability. You will also have a willingness to improve on your clinical practice and a focus on developing clinical skills in areas you're not familiar with.
