Speech Pathologist

At Windermere, we are committed to delivering exceptional care and support to children and families. As a Graduate Paediatric Speech Pathologist/Key Worker, you will play a vital role in our Early Intervention and Therapy Services team, working collaboratively with families to assess needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assessing children's communication needs and developing effective strategies for improvement
- Collaborating with early childhood education specialists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support
- Utilizing a coaching approach to empower families to implement strategies and access resources
- Providing direct speech therapy support and strategies to children aged 7-12 years
Key Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology with current and ongoing registration
- Experience working with children from 0 to 12 years with complex disabilities and developmental delay
- Knowledge of intervention and evaluation methods for children and families
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
