Role Overview

The WSP Property and Buildings Structures division is seeking a Structural Engineer to enhance our expanding team. Our Property and Buildings group is recognized globally for its management and technical consultancy services across various sectors. Your Responsibilities

As a Structural Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of structural engineering projects in compliance with relevant technical and regulatory standards;
  • Building effective relationships with stakeholders, including colleagues and senior management;
  • Taking on the role of Project Lead for smaller projects;
  • Assisting senior engineers and project leaders in providing quality structural engineering solutions;
  • Demonstrating enthusiasm for collaboration within a multidisciplinary design environment.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural Engineering);
  • A strong passion for Structural Engineering and a commitment to design excellence;
  • Typically 2 to 3+ years of experience in large-scale Australian building structures projects;
  • Experience across various building sectors, such as transport, health, commercial, and defence;
  • A proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across disciplines;
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills;
  • Proficiency in SPACEGASS, ETABS, RAPT, RAM Concept;
  • Familiarity with BIM, NavisWorks, and Revit Structure is advantageous.
