As a Structural Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of project and structural engineering tasks in compliance with relevant technical and regulatory standards;
- Building effective relationships with stakeholders, including colleagues and senior management;
- Taking on the role of Project Lead for smaller projects;
- Assisting senior engineers and project leaders in delivering quality structural engineering solutions;
- Demonstrating enthusiasm for collaboration within a multidisciplinary design environment.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural Engineering);
- A strong passion for Structural Engineering and a commitment to excellence in design;
- Typically 2 to 3+ years of experience in large-scale Australian building structures engineering projects;
- Experience across various building sectors, such as transport, health, commercial, and defence;
- A proven track record of effective collaboration with colleagues across disciplines;
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills;
- Proficiency in SPACEGASS, ETABS, RAPT, RAM Concept;
- Familiarity with BIM, NavisWorks, and Revit Structure is advantageous.
