Our client is a well-established engineering consultancy with a reputation for providing cost-effective engineering solutions across the Surat Basin, South Burnett, Wide Bay, and Western Queensland. They offer a wide range of services, including civil, structural, hydraulic, and mechanical engineering, and have a strong network of industry affiliations and memberships.
About the Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a dynamic and growing company, with a strong focus on career development and succession planning. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including residential, agricultural, and industrial/commodity processing.
Responsibilities
- Producing and reviewing structural designs
- Allocating jobs
- Liaising with clients and external stakeholders
- Conducting site inspections
- Providing leadership to, and assisting in the development of, other engineers
Requirements
- Tertiary qualified Engineer with a demonstrable track record of success in a similar role
- Minimum of 5-7 years Australian engineering consultancy experience
- Competency in industry standard design software, such as Auto CAD, Revit, and Microstran
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small cohesive team
The Reward
If successful, you will be offered a competitive base salary of between $140,000 - $160,000 plus superannuation, a fully maintained dual cab utility with fuel card, and annual discretionary bonus. Relocation assistance is also available for candidates applying from outside the Toowoomba region.
