Job Description

The role involves delivering human rights education to diverse audiences through various mediums, including educational resources, training programs, and workshops.

This entails developing engaging materials that cater to different learning styles and needs, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.

  • Creating and updating educational resources such as factsheets, infographics, and community guides in partnership with policy teams
  • Delivering interactive training or community education workshops
  • Designing and producing self-paced eLearning modules
  • Coordinating internal communities of practice or external networks of human rights educators
Key Requirements

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering adult education programs, particularly in a human rights context
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary human rights issues and anti-discrimination legislation
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate resources
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on plain English communication
  • Effective presentation, relationship building, and stakeholder management skills
  • Relevant qualifications in education/training or equivalent experience
