Business Human Rights Specialist

This role involves working on complex ESG matters, including business human rights. You will be part of a team that advises clients on complying with their modern slavery reporting requirements, related human rights policy advice, risk assessments, and due diligence.
You will work on international human rights law and voluntary business human rights frameworks for clients in various sectors from a compliance and best practice perspective as well as in the context of disputes, inquiries, and regulatory matters.
The successful candidate will support clients in understanding and managing ESG risks and issues.
Key responsibilities include advising clients on non-judicial dispute resolution mechanisms relevant to business human rights responsibilities and assisting with ESG and business human rights litigation where opportunities arise.
This role offers the chance to develop expertise in ESG and business human rights while also working on other matters within the firm's practice area.
