Human Rights Policy Specialist

Our Race Discrimination Team undertakes policy, project, education, and public awareness work under our National Anti-Racism Strategy.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Human Rights Policy Specialist to support our Commissioner in delivering on their key goals and priorities.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $94,563 - $105,910 per annum plus 15.4% superannuation, as well as flexible hybrid and remote work options.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven expertise in race, racism, anti-racism, and human rights issues in the Australian context
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Experience in developing complex policy solutions
  • Superior communication skills
