We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our facilities operations team at Ibis Sydney World Square.

Job Summary

This exciting opportunity will see you take on a leadership role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. As a seasoned maintenance professional, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance strategies that ensure peak performance and minimal disruptions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement proactive maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime
  • Lead a team of skilled maintenance technicians and tradespeople, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they deliver exceptional service
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities to meet business needs and maximize asset uptime
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Extensive experience (2+ years) in a maintenance management or supervisory role, preferably in the hotel, hospitality, or facilities management industry
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of building systems, equipment, and maintenance best practices
  • Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software and data analytics tools
