The Opportunity:

In this role, you will be responsible for effectively managing and leading a team to successfully deliver cleaning services at Coles Edinburgh Parks DC. You will work closely with your team to build strong relationships with our partner and provide exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake the general direction and supervision of the Cleaning Team members on shift.
  • Participate in induction and training of new Team Members.
  • Oversee the maintenance of food safety and hygiene standards across all areas of the DC, while adhering to all Health and Safety procedures.
  • Ensure the correct use of chemicals, equipment, and machinery by all team members.
  • Develop strong working relationships and a positive team environment.
  • Work with team members to ensure work schedules are completed to quality standards, within required time frames.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supervising cleaning team members, including roster management. Ideally in the food service industry or commercial supply chain environment.
  • Current driver's licence and vehicle (desirable).
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Intermediate to advanced IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).
  • Ability to work flexible hours when required.
