Job Title: Project Governance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain robust governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and reporting standards to ensure consistent program execution and compliance.
  • Plan and schedule projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and resource availability.
  • Facilitate stakeholder management by acting as a central point of contact for program stakeholders, facilitating effective communication, managing expectations, and providing regular updates on progress, risks, and issues.
  • IDentify, assess, and escalate risks and issues proactively, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on program delivery.
  • Support resource planning and allocation across workstreams, ensuring optimal utilization and addressing capacity constraints.
  • Manage financials, including budgeting, financial tracking, and reporting to ensure the program remains within scope and budget.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive status reports, dashboards, and documentation for senior leadership and governance bodies.
  • Monitor quality standards and ensure deliverables meet organizational and stakeholder expectations.
  • IDentify opportunities for process improvements within the PMO and program delivery practices.
Requirements:
  • 10 years' experience working within a project management discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in program or project coordination, preferably within a consulting or corporate environment.
  • Certification in Project Management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a PMO role within large, complex or multi year programs including demonstrated leadership in driving program success through effective coordination and governance.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project needs.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Expert in MS Office Suite and collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint.
  • Proven experience in producing high quality project communications and presentations.
