Project Governance and Controls Manager

The Project Governance and Controls Manager provides support to a portfolio of projects from development gate through construction activities of renewable energy projects in Australia.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement, track and analyse project(s) and portfolio from development gate to start of construction.
  • Maintain corporate compliance across Project Governance, Risk Management, Change Management and budget/accounting practices.
  • Develop and embed appropriate project governance processes within each project.
  • Establish, monitor and coordinate project reporting timelines, structures and platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various specialties in Australia and internationally.
  • Monitor and identify unresolved or critical issues that arise during implementation and propose corrective actions.
  • Communicate project progress, milestones and issues to stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project and portfolio reporting to management.
Support to Head of PMO & Procurement:
  • Corporate compliance for Australian business: project governance, country risk management, information management and other requirements.
  • Effective project management through development and implementation of initiatives: project planning, cost estimation/budgeting guidelines, risk management tools and stakeholder management.
  • Delivery of specific project scope across the portfolio of projects.
