Job Title: Governance and Compliance Specialist

About the Role

The Department of Transport and Planning is seeking an experienced Governance and Compliance Specialist to join its team. This role will play a key part in ensuring that the department's contracts are managed effectively and that all stakeholders are aware of their responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. They will be responsible for developing and implementing governance frameworks, monitoring contract performance, and providing advice on compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement governance frameworks to ensure effective management of contracts
  • Monitor contract performance and provide regular reporting to stakeholders
  • Provide advice on compliance matters and develop strategies to address any issues that arise
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of projects
Requirements
  • Degree in a relevant field such as law, business, or public administration
  • Proven experience in governance and compliance roles
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
