Job Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As the first point of contact for employee enquiries and problems related to Technology, you will provide high-quality technical support over the phone, via email and in person.

  • Provide technical support to partners and staff (phone, email and in person).
  • Be the first point of contact for employee enquiries and problems related to Technology.
  • Support daily operations of audio-visual services and video conferencing services.
  • Assist in AV troubleshooting and setup for client meetings as required.
  • Maintain administrative and procedural responsibilities related to IT support and AV services.
  • Work with a team to ensure a responsive, customer-centric service desk experience.
  • Rotate across a national roster to support the team between 7:00am and 6:00pm.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should bring a calm, knowledgeable demeanour, strong customer focus, and the ability to think two steps ahead. You will also need:

  • Proven ability to clarify priorities and resolve technical issues in Windows environments.
  • Experience in an audio-visual environment.
  • Ability to manage mobile devices via MDM solutions.
  • Active Directory skills – maintaining user accounts.
  • Understanding of network topology.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting VOIP softphones & telephone handsets.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster for nationwide coverage between 7am and 6pm.
