Job Description

We're currently seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Officer for a 3-month temporary contract working four days per week.

This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service related to council services.

  • To provide first point of contact service to residents contacting the council via telephone with a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality customer service in relation to all council service offerings.

Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries and concerns.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and communications.

Requirements:

We're looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience in high-volume call centres, which is essential.
  • Previous local government experience would be highly regarded.
  • High-level computer skills, including customer request systems and databases.
  • A police check completed within the last six months.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive estimated salary range of AU$55,000 - AU$65,000 per annum based on full-time hours, depending on location and level of experience.
