The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location of City Facilities Management.

Job Description

In this role, you will work closely with our operations and finance teams to manage the capital expenditure (Capex) workflow and ensure timely completion of projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing all Capex jobs in progress, coordinating with the operations team for job closure and status updates.
  • Preparing files for invoicing as per agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Reviewing all Capex jobs for aging and updating accordingly.
  • Assisting in month-end processes, including accrued income assessments.
  • Balancing sheet reconciliations, including analysis, investigating discrepancies, balances, and variances.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in accounting.
  • Hold your Professional Accounting qualification (CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA, etc.) – advantageous.
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Advanced level of computer literacy, including advanced Excel skills, including formulas, vlookups, and pivot tables.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with staff and senior management.
