Sound Design Specialist

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Sound Design Specialist to deliver innovative audio solutions. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional groups to create comprehensive technical designs and strategies that meet the evolving needs of our partners and customers.

You will work closely with our Audio Solutions Manager to develop awareness of our audio systems and solutions, identify new opportunities, and drive revenue growth across markets.

The role involves creating engaging content, presenting at webinars and industry events, and providing training on audio solutions to distributors, resellers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed site surveys, speaker placement plans, sound dispersion calculations, SPL coverage analyses, network topology designs, and BOM creation documents
  • Produce schematic drawings using CAD, Axis Site Designer, and EASE Evac tools
  • Recommend and integrate third-party audio products into overall solutions
  • Support sales efforts with technical demonstrations, audio solution delivery, and presales technical documentation
  • Provide technical training and updates on audio solutions to internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Identify new business opportunities through partner engagement and collaboration
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows, focusing on audio solutions
  • Collaborate across departments and support other Sound Design Specialists as needed
Qualification and Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, network engineering, computer science, or information systems is desirable

Experience in customer-facing pre-sales roles, ideally in network audio or IP-based audio solutions

General knowledge of common paging loudspeaker systems/solutions and IP-based audio and AV control systems is required

Able to facilitate engaging presentations and demonstrations to various audiences
