About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Moxy Sydney Airport. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel, providing exceptional guest service, and leading a team of staff to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations to ensure the quality and standards of the hotel are met
  • Assist guests with check-in and departure processes, providing a warm and welcoming experience
  • Handle complaints and resolve disputes in a fair and professional manner
  • Supervise staff to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met
  • Lead by example, providing motivation and support to the team to achieve exceptional results
  • Handle general enquiries and provide expert knowledge of the hotel and surrounding area to enhance the guest experience
  • Build relationships with guests to encourage repeat business and drive revenue growth
  • Plan and execute team-building activities to foster a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Monitor and manage departmental operations to achieve or exceed financial goals and objectives

About You:

  • Experience in a similar managerial role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of property management systems, such as OPERA
  • Working rights in Australia
  • Enthusiasm for career growth and development
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a can-do attitude
