Optimizing Pricing Strategies

The role of Pricing Officer plays a crucial part in enhancing overall profitability through strategic pricing methodologies.

This position will collaborate closely with major stakeholders, including Product Management, Customer Support, and Sales, to provide data-driven analysis on pricing opportunities and identify areas for optimizing margins.

Maintaining and improving the pricing structure, along with dedicated pricing tools, is also an essential component of this role.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead pricing efforts within the organization, supporting Product Management and Sector organization in determining optimal pricing strategies that align with product positioning and profitability targets.
  • Develop approaches to assess and optimize pricing strategies based on market data, customer insights, and competitor analysis.
  • Enhance data and IT infrastructure supporting pricing activities and processes across stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the annual pricing review process.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in finance, pricing, revenue management, or related fields, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Postgraduate degree in business administration or relevant field.
  • Knowledge of pricing methodologies, value drivers, customer value, price elasticity.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage diverse audiences with clarity and vision.
  • Ability to work on both operational and strategic levels, demonstrating understanding of business dynamics and financial impacts.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills to leverage data from multiple sources to inform pricing decisions.
  • Influencing skills to motivate stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience with Excel, SAP ERP, Salesforce, SF-CPQ, QAD tools; basic data models and databases.
  • Proficiency in English (additional languages beneficial).
