Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team at Hyatt Place Melbourne, Caribbean Park. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our food and beverage operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of food and beverage staff to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Develop and implement effective procedures for opening and closing the restaurant
  • Maintain high standards of production, productivity, and customer service
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
  • Handle guest feedback and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and presentation in all work areas

Requirements

  • Demonstrated supervisory experience in a similar hotel or restaurant environment
  • Excellent customer service skills aligned to 5-star brand standards
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to motivate and coach staff
  • Basic understanding of financials such as COGs and labor costs
  • Able to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including late nights, weekends, and public holidays
