Job Overview:

This long-term contract position as a Lead Fund Accounting Specialist will be based in Sydney and will involve oversight of the Unit Pricing and Unit Registry function for all clients. The successful candidate will work closely with the Fund Accounting Manager to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team manager to drive process improvements resulting in increased operational efficiency.
  • Liaise with clients and project teams on restructuring projects to ensure seamless execution.
  • Identify, document, and disseminate new procedures and controls to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement complex activities with significant financial impact.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with expertise in unit pricing.
  • The ability to work under pressure to meet multiple daily deadlines for client deliverables.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation.
