Job Title: Fund Accountant Specialist - Investment Banking

Company Overview: Our client is a global financial services firm with a reputation for excellence, seeking a skilled Fund Accountant to join their Sydney office on a 9-month contract.

About the Role: As a Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the Unit Pricing and Unit Registry function for all clients. This involves working closely with the Fund Accounting Manager to ensure accurate and timely delivery of results.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement: Provide input on process changes to increase operational efficiency, liaise with clients, and support the team manager in ensuring seamless operations.
  • Client Relationships: Liaise with clients and project teams to restructure and transition existing clients, ensuring Unit Pricing processes are correctly implemented.
  • Procedure Documentation: Identify, document, and disseminate new procedures and controls to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
  • Complex Activities: Perform complex activities with significant financial, client, and business impact, requiring technical expertise and innovative problem-solving skills.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in unit pricing, with strong knowledge of related areas, and ability to work under pressure to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Communication and Analytical Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with analytical and problem-solving abilities, demonstrating innovation and adaptability.
  • Australian PR or AUS CIT: Must hold an Australian PR or AUS CIT, and have relevant experience in Australian fund accounting, as well as being based in Australia.

Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
