
Administrative Governance Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to provide administrative and governance support to the Global Head of Governance and Company Secretary.
This is a 6-month maximum term contract, based in Sydney CBD with a hybrid working arrangement. The successful candidate will engage with senior stakeholders and be responsible for providing seamless delivery of company secretary support to the Board, Executive Committee, and Senior Management.
- Provide support to the Company Secretary and corporate governance function.
- Draft meeting agendas and request Board and Committee papers.
- Coordinate the collection and distribution of Board and Committee papers ahead of meetings.
- Maintain Diligent and company statutory registers.
- Oversee and maintain company secretary policies and director interests registers.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills, including ability to set priorities and pursue tasks to completion within deadlines.
- Strong administrative and secretarial skills.
- Good stakeholder management and communications skills (both verbal and written).
- Experience with electronic Board and regulatory portals desirable.
- A good understanding of compliance and risk management operations.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment; flexibility and a willingness to adapt to a changing digital environment.
- A high degree of diplomacy and discretion and be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Qualification in commerce, business or corporate governance.
- At least two years' experience.
- Prior administrative experience, ideally with a Company Secretary team, or other relevant experience within the corporate industry.
