Our team is dedicated to creating immersive and memorable experiences for our visitors, and we're seeking a talented individual to join our Cellar Door team as a Cellar Door Supervisor - Wine Connoisseur.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wine Knowledge and Sales: Demonstrate and share your passion and knowledge of wine to craft memorable customer experiences and drive sales of our premium wine products.
  • Team Management: Manage, coach, and develop the Cellar Door team to deliver exceptional performance and provide a high level of customer service.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing personalized service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and record all stock movements, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing waste.
  • Tourism Strategy: Support our tourism strategy by liaising with tourism partners to plan group visits and cellar door tastings.
  • Health and Safety: Take active responsibility for implementing health and safety policies to eliminate or minimize identified risks.
Requirements
  • Wine Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the wine industry, including wine production, wine styles, and wine regions.
  • Team Management: Proven experience in team management, including identifying and hiring talent.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer focus, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Inventory Management: Experience in inventory management, including stock control and reconciliation.
  • Tourism Strategy: Understanding of tourism strategies and experience in planning group visits and cellar door tastings.
  • Health and Safety: Understanding of health and safety policies and procedures.
