Our Team
As a Cellar Door Manager at Josef Chromy, you will be responsible for promoting our brand and business by creating exceptional customer experiences for visitors and direct and ongoing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Experience: Demonstrate and share your passion and knowledge of wine to craft memorable customer experiences.
- Sales and Revenue: Actively drive sales of the company's wine products in line with monthly and annual targets.
- Team Management: Manage, coach and constantly develop the Cellar Door team to be motivated to deliver performance at the highest level.
- Technical Tastings: Participate in technical tastings representing a broad consumer perspective.
- Wine Club: Promote and sell Wine Club memberships.
- Customer Database: Handle and develop the customer and cellar door visitor databases.
- Stock Management: Manage and record all stock movements.
- Tourism Strategy: Support our tourism strategy by liaising with tourism partners to plan group visits, cellar door tastings.
- Health and Safety: Take active responsibility with health and safety policies to implement control strategies to eliminate or minimise identified risks.
Requirements
- Team Management Experience: Team management experience (including identify and hiring of talent).
- Wine Knowledge: Wine Knowledge, and WSET level 2 or higher.
- Office Administration Skills: Office Administration Skills.
- Wine Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the wine industry.
- Customer Focus: Strong customer focus, communication and leadership skills.
- Results Driven: Excellent communication skills and a drive for results.
- Availability: Availability to work weekends and public holidays.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of Rezdy booking platform or willing to learn.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of the Obee reservations system or willing to learn.
