About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our team in supporting individuals through workplace injury recovery.
The role involves working alongside employees to help them rebuild confidence, regain independence, and return to meaningful work. Our approach focuses on empowering individuals through personalised rehabilitation, ensuring they feel supported throughout their journey back to the workplace.
Main Responsibilities- Manage complex physical and psychological injury cases, providing health coaching, career coaching, and return-to-work support.
- Perform vocational assessments both face-to-face and virtually.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with employers in NSW.
- Utilise award-winning psychosocial risk tools to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Eligibility for registration with AHPRA, ASORC, or AASW.
- Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly desirable but not essential.
- Proven ability to work in a high-performance environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including negotiation and consultation skills, with a strong ability to establish and sustain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Strong attention to detail and result-driven approach.
- Excellent organisational skills and capacity to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and show initiative.
- Well-developed research skills and ability to prepare, collate, and organise data for reporting purposes.
- Accuracy and efficiency in administration procedures.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
- Police clearance and a working with children check.
