About the Role

The VET Education Coordinator is a dynamic position that requires a unique blend of teaching, leadership, and management skills. As a key member of the school's team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs to students, while also providing guidance and support to colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, setting and modeling excellent standards of teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement effective curriculum plans, incorporating new developments in teaching and learning.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve school goals and objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A comprehensive understanding of Catalyst initiatives and High Impact Teaching Practices.
  • A thorough knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and ability to design content for effective teaching and learning.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, including high-level mediation and conflict resolution skills.
  • A capacity to coordinate a teaching team effectively and promote staff development.
