Nurse Unit Manager Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Oncology Nurse to lead our clinical team on a permanent, full-time basis.

This role involves providing strategic leadership and workforce management expertise, as well as clinical service planning and delivery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate empathy for patients and their caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement nursing strategies to drive clinical excellence.
  • Lead the development of clinical service plans and manage their implementation.
  • Set performance goals with the team and facilitate their achievement.
  • Actively support initiatives to enhance culture, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Registration as a Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Clinical experience as a nurse – 5 years' experience with at least 3 years in Medical Oncology.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, guidelines, and standards.
