We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic cancer clinic that is transforming into the leading integrated cancer centre across the Northern Beaches.

The successful candidate will have the autonomy to consult with patients receiving treatment and provide exceptional care, ensuring their physical and psychological needs are met. They will be responsible for effectively managing patient interactions, facilitating effective lines of communication with staff, and providing feedback and up-to-date information regarding patients.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing high-quality patient care and ensuring patients' physical and psychological needs are met.
  • Managing patient interactions and documenting all patient interaction.
  • Facilitating effective lines of communication with staff and providing feedback and up-to-date information regarding patients.
  • Maintaining procedures, protocols, practices, and clinical guidelines in line with best practice oncology nursing standards.
  • Ensuring medication management protocols are followed.

The ideal candidate will possess current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and previous experience in Radiation Oncology and/or Medical Oncology. They will also have exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate empathy for patients and their carers.
