Valuation Expertise

We are seeking a Graduate Valuer to join our team and develop expertise in valuation across NSW with flexible hybrid work arrangements.

This role involves undertaking and assisting with professional property and valuation information consistent with legislation and policy.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and assist with valuation tasks in accordance with legislative requirements
  • Participate in a 24-month graduate program with rotations across teams including Rating & Taxing, Objections, Compulsory Acquisitions, and Special Valuations
  • Provide valuation support and advice to the Valuer General and government clusters
  • Gain exposure to valuing every parcel of land in NSW and determining compensation for compulsory acquisitions
About You
  • You will need drive, motivation, and commitment to learning with self-reflection ability
  • Strong communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential
  • You should be able to achieve quality outcomes efficiently and make decisions within delegation on valuation matters
  • You will deliver transparent, objective, on-time results in accordance with relevant requirements
  • A solid understanding of relevant legislation and policies and their application is required
  • You should be a Student or Provisional Member of the Australian Property Institute
  • You must have completion of or undertaking qualifications eligible for Associate Membership of the Australian Property Institute by end of 2025
  • A current driver's license and willingness to travel are also necessary
