About the Role

The position involves undertaking professional property and valuation information consistent with legislation and policy. You will participate in a comprehensive graduate program that spans 24 months, comprising up to four six-month rotations across various teams, including Rating & Taxing, Objections, Compulsory Acquisitions, and Special Valuations. This invaluable experience will equip you with expertise in valuing every parcel of land in NSW and determining compensation for compulsory acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain valuation expertise across diverse property types and contexts.
  • Provide high-quality support and advice to the Valuer General and government clusters, leveraging your analytical skills and legislative knowledge.
  • Cultivate relationships with stakeholders through effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that align with industry standards and best practices.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to make informed decisions within delegated authority.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to adapt to diverse situations and audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Current student or Provisional Member of the Australian Property Institute, with plans to complete qualifications eligible for Associate Membership by end of 2025.
  • Current driver's license and willingness to travel.
