Graduate Valuer Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Valuer to join our team and develop valuation expertise across NSW.

About the Job

The role involves undertaking and assisting with professional property and valuation information consistent with legislation and policy.

You will participate in a 24-month graduate program with rotations across teams, including Rating & Taxing, Objections, Compulsory Acquisitions, and Special Valuations.

As a Graduate Valuer, you will provide valuation support and advice to the team on various matters and gain exposure to valuing every parcel of land in NSW.

You will determine compensation for compulsory acquisitions and have opportunities to develop your skills and expertise in valuation.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake and assist with professional property and valuation information consistent with legislation and policy.
  • Participate in a 24-month graduate program with rotations across teams.
  • Provide valuation support and advice to the team on various matters.
  • Determine compensation for compulsory acquisitions.

  • You should be able to deliver on outcomes that are transparent, objective, on time and in accordance with relevant requirements.
  • A knowledge of relevant legislation and policies and their application is required.
  • A Student or Provisional Member of the Australian Property Institute is preferred.
  • Completion of or undertaking qualifications eligible for Associate Membership of the Australian Property Institute by end of 2025 is also required.
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel are necessary.
Professional Growth
  • This role offers a pathway to qualification as a Valuer and Associate membership with the Australian Property Institute.
  • You will experience diverse valuation functions and have opportunities for ongoing and temporary roles through a recruitment pool for up to 18 months.
