This role involves developing valuation expertise across New South Wales.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Professional property and valuation information must be undertaken consistent with legislation and policy.
  • A 24-month graduate program is offered with up to four six-month rotations across teams including Rating & Taxing, Objections, Compulsory Acquisitions, and Special Valuations.
  • Valuation support and advice are provided to the Valuer General and government clusters.
  • Exposure to valuing every parcel of land in New South Wales and determining compensation for compulsory acquisitions is gained.
About You
  • Motivation commitment to learning with self-reflection ability is a must.
  • Strong communication relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills are required.
  • Able to achieve quality outcomes efficiently making decisions within delegation on valuation matters.
  • Deliver on outcomes that are transparent objective on time and in accordance with relevant requirements.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation and policies and their application is necessary.
  • Student or Provisional Member of the Australian Property Institute.
  • Completion of or undertaking qualifications eligible for Associate Membership of the Australian Property Institute by end of 2025.
  • Current driver's license and willingness to travel.
