Senior Test Lead Opportunity in Sydney

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Lead to join our boutique consultancy, Talenza, on a large-scale Dynamics transformation project.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in test management, with a focus on ERP systems and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).

This is a hybrid opportunity based in Macquarie Business Park, with 3 days on-site. We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per annum, plus benefits.

About the Role

The Senior Test Lead will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of deliverables throughout the project life-cycle. This includes defining and implementing a comprehensive testing strategy, developing and maintaining detailed test plans, and leading a team of testers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement a comprehensive testing strategy for the Dynamics F&O program.
  • Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with project requirements and timelines.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and end-users to gather testing requirements and define acceptance criteria.
  • Lead and mentor a team of testers, ensuring effective resource allocation and adherence to testing best practices.
  • Manage defect identification, tracking, and resolution processes to ensure timely reporting and effective resolution of issues.
  • Recommend and implement appropriate test automation tools and frameworks for regression and repetitive testing tasks to improve efficiency.
  • Identify testing-related risks and issues, providing proactive solutions to mitigate them and ensure project stability and quality.
  • Provide regular test status updates, quality metrics, and progress reports to project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in test management / leadership, with a focus on ERP systems and ideally on Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or other Dynamics modules.
  • In-depth understanding of Dynamics F&O architecture, modules, and functionalities.
  • Strong knowledge of test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA) and testing methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Experience in creating, managing, and executing both manual and automated test cases.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically to troubleshoot and solve problems.
