Unlocking Supply Chain Excellence

At Woolworths Group, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences through our supply chain operations. We're seeking an experienced Transformation Program Director to lead our supply chain programs, driving targeted benefits and delivering complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of project managers, working closely with subject matter experts to deliver end-to-end program outcomes.
  • Owning the program schedule, budget, team development, and quality, ensuring seamless delivery of projects.
  • Managing the critical path, including accountability for interdependencies, issue escalation, and risk mitigation.
  • Maintaining correct governance and assurance, complying with the Woolworths project management framework.
  • Owning the business case, ensuring scope variations and targeted benefits are reflected, and targeted outcomes are delivered.
  • Reporting progress, preparing, and presenting program updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Partnering with business leaders to align program strategy, contributing to key business planning, including Quarterly Business Reviews and Investment Forums, Budgeting, and Resource planning.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering large-scale transformational projects in complex organisations.
  • At least 10 years of program management experience, ideally in a supply chain, transport, automation, or manufacturing environment.
  • Depth of experience in program or project delivery, including managing end-to-end commissioning and transition activities and deliverables.
  • Strong financial competence and previous success in delivering projects with capex budgets exceeding $20 million.
  • Exceptional influencing and negotiating capability, with experience in handling complex interdependencies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with experience presenting updates to senior executive forums.
  • Previous experience forging connections and positive relationships with senior leaders, colleagues, and associates in various roles and functional areas.
