Job Title: Senior Executive for Trade Operations

We are seeking a senior executive to lead our trade operations team. The ideal candidate will have experience in overseeing daily trade clearing workflows and managing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily trade clearing workflows – from pre-matching, confirmation, MTM, margin calls to fund/stock settlement and fails resolution.
  • Ensure accurate and timely generation of margin deficit files, pay-in/pay-out obligations, and Bhav/obligation reports.
  • Lead a team of 10-15 members, including recruitment, mentoring, performance appraisals, and cross-training.
  • Maintain strong supervisory controls, manage escalations, and track KPIs/SLAs for error rates and processing timelines.
  • Process & Risk Management
  • Identify process breakdowns; implement re-engineered workflows to enhance STP rates and settlement efficiency.
  • Strengthen control frameworks, monitor operational risks, and ensure audit-readiness and compliance with regulations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as the central point for trade-related escalations, liaising with front office, trading teams, exchanges, banks, and clearing members.
  • Manage exchange communications for circulars, trade files, and regulatory updates.
  • Strategic Initiatives & Automation
  • Drive strategic projects for operational efficiency, technology upgrades, and change initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role or related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
