Risk Assurance Project Lead Opportunity

A leading financial services firm is seeking a highly skilled Risk Assurance Project Lead to join their Regulatory Change Projects team in Melbourne. This 9-month+ contract position offers a competitive hourly rate, estimated to be $90 per hour.

As a Risk Assurance Project Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of project deliverables and outputs meet the completion criteria. Key responsibilities include maintaining product consistency throughout the delivery cycle, implementing ongoing quality improvement processes, and managing quality assurance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and refine the methodology for documentation of all project deliverables and outputs
  • Implement ongoing quality improvement processes working with the delivery team
  • Develop and manage quality assurance metrics for performance improvement of all teams
  • Manage the planning and execution of project assurance activities
  • Coordinate assurance activities internal and external to the Melbourne Branch

Required Experience/Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working as a Quality Assurance Manager
  • 3-6 years' experience in Audit, Quality Assurance, and or Risk Projects from other leading banks
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Law, Finance, Risk, or related field
  • Experience in Assurance testing within first, second, or third line
  • Experience in process improvement
