Windana is seeking a highly experienced Registered Nurse to lead our Nursing team at a 24/7 AOD Rehabilitation Facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care and individual case management to our residents.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a strong background in leadership and clinical nursing practice, with experience in conducting drug and alcohol withdrawal and physical assessments. You will be responsible for mentoring and developing a small team of Enrolled Nurses, enhancing their knowledge and skills through peer consultation and training.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience working within the alcohol and drug sector, mental health or other primary health care environment.
- Experience in conducting drug and alcohol withdrawal and physical assessments.
- Knowledge of contemporary standards and evidence-based practice and interventions in AOD context.
- Excellent people management skills with proven ability to provide clinical supervision.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural ability to communicate effectively to a diverse group of people.
