Clinical Leader for AOD Rehabilitation Team

At Windana, we are seeking an experienced Clinical Leader to join our team at a 24/7 AOD Rehabilitation Facility. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Nursing team and contribute to the rehabilitation of individuals with complex needs.
Located in a serene landscape just 10 minutes from Pakenham, this permanent, full-time role offers a unique chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care and individual case management to residents, including nursing assessment and treatment.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working within the alcohol and drug sector, mental health, or primary health care environment, with a strong understanding of AOD service navigation. They will also possess excellent people management skills, proven ability to provide clinical supervision, and exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.

About the Role:
- Lead and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Nursing team
- Mentor and develop a small team of Enrolled Nurses
- Attend GP appointments and ensure clients understand their health needs
- Liaise with GP pre/post admission and other allied health professionals as required
What We're Looking For:
- Demonstrated experience in conducting drug and alcohol withdrawal and physical assessments
- Knowledge of contemporary standards and evidence-based practice and interventions in AOD context
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing & Current registration as Registered Nurse (Division 1) within the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
