About the Role

We invite applications for a Mental Health Clinician to join our Community Mental Health Team in the Flinders and Upper North region. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive and welcoming team, providing specialized mental health services to older adults in the community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and managing the mental health needs of older adults, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage the mental health needs of older adults in the community
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Provide education and support to clients, families, and carers to promote mental health and well-being
Requirements
  • Registration as a Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, or Social Worker with the relevant professional board
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification in mental health practice
  • Experience working with older adults in a mental health setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
