About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our dynamic team at the NSW Government's South Eastern Sydney Local Health District.

About the Position:

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified clinician to work with children and their families, providing early intervention services through the Getting on Track In Time (GOT IT) program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide mental health services to children from Kindergarten to Year 2 who display emerging challenging behaviors.
  • To work closely with educational staff, providing practical support, education, and direction.
  • To develop consultation practices, including community education and development.
  • To liaise with key stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

About You:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced clinician who can demonstrate a strong commitment to working with families and communities.

Essential Requirements:

  • Social Worker or Occupational Therapist qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award.
  • Current full registration with AHPRA and/or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Clinical skills and experience in the assessment and treatment of children and their families presenting with complex mental health needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and systematically with multiple stakeholders.
