About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our Commercial team at Westrock. As a Key Account Manager, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, driving sales growth, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop Strategic Plans: Create and implement strategic plans to identify and drive activity in line with targets and outcome expectations.
  2. Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers and establish business relationships with potential customers.
  3. Identify New Business Opportunities: Identify opportunities within existing and new accounts by promoting Westrock's vertically integrated product and service offering to ensure top-line revenue growth.
  4. Deliver Value to Customers: Deliver value to customers through a structured review process to ensure performance is measured and reported and align on improvement priorities to grow the partnership.
  5. Provide Value-Added Solutions: Provide customers with value-added solutions/products to enhance the current sale (up-selling) and overall account profitability.
  6. Forecast and Analyze Performance: Provide accurate customer forecasts volumes, with responsibility for forecasting performance KPI's.
  7. Secure Contracted Business: Proactively secure contracted business ahead of competitive tenders, and/or should uncontracted business go to market, lead and manage the process of securing at acceptable business terms.
Requirements
  1. 5+ Years' Experience: 5+ years' Key Account Management experience in a similar or related industry.
  2. Proven Track Record: Proven experience in building top-line sales growth through solid account management, upselling within existing accounts, and identifying new business opportunities.
  3. Strong Commercial Acumen: Solid commercial acumen with excellent negotiating and influencing skills.
  4. Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work collaboratively through sound interpersonal skills, both internally and externally.
