About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of new and existing clients, achieving personal and team revenue targets, and providing exceptional customer service.
Main Responsibilities- Manage a Small Business Insurance portfolio of new and existing clients
- Achieve personal and team revenue targets within identified markets
- Research the market to develop a good understanding of client needs, industry risk, and business environment
- Negotiate new & renewal terms with underwriters
- Partner with stakeholders and colleagues across the business to exceed client expectations
- Multi-tasking whilst navigating a range of technologies
- Collaborating and sharing knowledge with colleagues across the team and business
- Tier 1 accreditation essential
- Experience in Insurance Broking or Financial Services servicing clients
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to tackle problems creatively and show initiative
- Possess a zest for learning and ability to make sense of information and learn systems and technologies at speed
