About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of new and existing clients, achieving personal and team revenue targets, and providing exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a Small Business Insurance portfolio of new and existing clients
  • Achieve personal and team revenue targets within identified markets
  • Research the market to develop a good understanding of client needs, industry risk, and business environment
  • Negotiate new & renewal terms with underwriters
  • Partner with stakeholders and colleagues across the business to exceed client expectations
  • Multi-tasking whilst navigating a range of technologies
  • Collaborating and sharing knowledge with colleagues across the team and business
Key Requirements
  • Tier 1 accreditation essential
  • Experience in Insurance Broking or Financial Services servicing clients
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to tackle problems creatively and show initiative
  • Possess a zest for learning and ability to make sense of information and learn systems and technologies at speed
