Our ideal candidate will be passionate about growing a well-established customer base through strategic account management and business development. They will sell core and innovative products to various sectors such as distribution, fabrication, manufacturing, and construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Develop and implement customer and competitor profiles, and growth/sales plans.
  • Identify and meet current and potential customer needs by developing market offers.
  • Maintain extensive market knowledge, including competitors, suppliers, industry trends, and products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and timely provision of quotations and responses to customer needs.
  • Identify and recommend training and development needs for internal sales teams and oneself.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of developing positive relationships with current and prospective clients & stakeholders.
  • Sales experience preferably within the steel, mining or similar industries - construction, engineering, or manufacturing.
  • Strong financial acumen, business skills, and negotiation abilities.
  • Effective communication and reporting skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems and MS Office applications for planning and reporting.
  • A valid driver's license.
