Head of Business Applications & Data Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Director of Digital Business Operations to lead our Technology team based at our Cremorne Office in Melbourne. As a strategic and organised team player with a background in applications, data, and integrations, you will drive business growth through innovative technology solutions.

About the Role

  • Strategic Leadership: Build and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring outcomes align with key business objectives.
  • Team Management: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of application specialists, data engineers, data analysts, and integration specialists.
  • Application Development and Management: Partner with third-party vendors, oversee the product development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Data Management and Analytics: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs, translate them into effective data solutions, and drive adoption of data-driven decision-making.
  • Integration: Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions to connect disparate systems and data sources.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated 5 years' experience in an application or data leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience in the retail industry.
  • Strong stakeholder management and team engagement capability.
  • Exceptional communication skills across all business facets and with partners/vendors.
  • Ability to align key stakeholders and influence business outcomes.
  • Ability to identify, allocate, and monitor performance of team members to successfully deliver outcomes to agreed timeframes.

Estimated Salary: AU$180,000 - AU$200,000 per annum
