Reporting to the Marketing Manager - Content & Social the **Marketing Specialist - Digital Content** will support the creation of inspiring content end to end across all digital touch points, with the goal of increasing engagement and telling every single pubs unique story.
Your finger is on the pulse, you’re a step ahead in understanding the ever-changing world of social media and digital marketing. You love content and are a champion for brand storytelling creating connection with customers.

Here’s a taster of the **Marketing Specialist - Digital Content **responsibilities:
- Responsible for the end to end campaign management of digital content, including social media and editorial, for always-on content marketing initiatives to achieve business targets, working to project timelines and ensure cross functional delivery across all channels.
- Collaborate with Campaign Marketing Lead & functional leads to support key brand & trade initiatives with compelling content, amplified through the right channels to drive reach.
- Work with cross functional teams, including but not limited to Marketing Operations, Entertainment and Accommodation to leverage content across various channels, ensuring a strong web presence.
- Support the creation of strategic social media campaigns to engage followers and create conversation, particularly as it pertains to Discovery Brands.
- Brief creative agency partners (internal and external) to produce content for campaigns on time and to brief and budget (including copy and video content). When required, create, schedule and upload content to our social media channels, conduct proactive community engagement on other social media accounts in an informative and on-brand tone of voice.
- Providing well thought out ideas with detailed insights and recommendations to inform future social campaigns.
- Collaborate with the group digital marketing team to optimise content campaigns.
- Using social listening tools, generate ideas to increase customer engagement.
- Prepare weekly updates to MLT on trends in content and performance of our content and assist in monthly campaign reporting to wider business.
- Role model the ALH Values and Ways of Working.

- Proven digital marketing, social media & content marketing experience.
- 4+ years working in a dedicated marketing environment.
- Strong capability to deliver successful end to end campaigns.
- An understanding of content amplification strategies that create awareness and drive sales.
- A great eye for social content and strong visual aesthetic.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong copywriting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Great stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with social insights tools.
- Proven ability to turn insights into action.
- Tertiary qualifications in business and/or marketing preferred.
