About the Role

The Billing Administrator will provide professional, efficient, and patient-centered support to billing administration tasks across several Austin Health Emergency, Radiology, and Specialist Clinics. This role will be responsible for processing patient billing information, raising invoices, and ensuring data integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with various business areas to ensure high-quality data is maintained
  • Process patient billing information and raise invoices for Emergency, Radiology, and outpatient/Specialist Clinics departments
  • Receive and verify provider number information
  • Check Medicare information and adjust/complete to enable timely billing
  • Participate in auditing and error correction processes in line with Divisional requirements
About You

As the Billing Administrator, you will be someone who has excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to excellence in patient care, and a keen interest in developing your skillset. You will bring energy and drive to your work and be able to use initiative and work autonomously, as well as in a team.
