Roster Support Officer

The Roster Support Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient and consistent rostering practices across all business streams at Calvary Care. You will provide essential support to managers and administrative staff in a variety of tasks related to rostering, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements, ANACC needs, and budgetary necessities.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting Roster Administration: Assist in maintaining rosters, adhering to established policies and procedures, and supporting rostering systems (Kronos).
- Implementing Advanced Scheduling: Work closely with the Roster Implementation Lead to implement advanced scheduling across the business streams.
- Training and Development: Provide structured and consistent training to Kronos users, focusing on rostering systems, Enterprise Agreement requirements, and best practice rostering guidelines.
- Roster Compliance: Regularly review and report on roster compliance with the applicable Enterprise Agreement.
- Data Interpretation: Analyze and interpret data related to rostering, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and address any rostering issues promptly, working towards efficient solutions for stakeholders.
- Communication and Collaboration: Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, fostering clear communication and collaboration regarding rosters.
- Workforce Planning: Review workforce data for compliance with employment terms and agreements, assess casual workforce patterns, and manage leave.
- Relevant qualifications in ICT, HR, or Business.
- Experience with Kronos or similar rostering applications.
- Exposure to complex staff rostering, workforce planning, or scheduling large teams.
- Strong communication skills for conveying complex information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and high attention to detail.
- Knowledge of workforce analytics and metrics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Experience in healthcare is advantageous.
- Ability to travel as needed for training.
